Audrey Marguerite Ingersoll nee Bagley May 15 2019

Audrey was born & grew up in Seal Cove on Grand Manan Island. She met Jesus when she was 9 years old & served Him until the end of her life. She first met her future husband at his 5th birthday party; he failed to notice her for another 12 years.
Audrey went to teacher’s college & taught school at Aulac, NB and then decided to return to teach in her hometown in Seal Cove, NB. After a year, she realized the truth of Jesus’ words: “a prophet is not without honour except in their own hometown.”
Audrey went back to the mainland to teach music in the Cole’s Island school area; met her husband to be, said “I do”, and headed for the North Shore of New Brunswick to help in a home mission church. After the girls arrived (Sharon & Carolyn), she became a homemaker, Sunday School teacher, nature lover & “back roader.”
Audrey was a listener. She was a confidante for many of her friends. This ability to listen was to seemingly become her job for life until her grandchildren arrived. She loved being a grandmother to Brandon & Gavin and enjoyed babysitting them while their parents worked. Not even her loving husband could compete with her love of being a grandmother.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Southside Church of the Nazarene, 10712 – 29 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB
