Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Thursday May 23rd, 2019, Mrs. Arleen Burke of Dover Centre passed away in her 100th year. Cherished daughter of the late John and Carrie Jenkinson. Beloved wife of the late Carson Burke. Loving mother of Joy Anderson (the late Ron) of Dover Centre, Bob Burke of Sault Ste. Marie, Bill and his wife Eileen of Windsor, and Ann Griffore of Chatham. She will be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Dear sister of Helen Smith and Pauline Crawford and survived by her sister-in-law Evelyn Jenkinson. Predeceased by her brothers Donald Jenkinson, and Melvin Jenkinson. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Saturday May 25th with visiting from 11 am to 1 pm. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 pm with Rev. Bob Barwick and Rev. Kim Cooper officiating. Interment Owen Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone for a time of fellowship to Dover Centre Congregational Church following the interment.
