Anita Danis (Bélanger)
It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Placide and the late Eugenie (née Rouleau) Bélanger. Loving wife of 75 years to the late Donat Danis. Cherished mother of André Danis (Lynda) and Suzanne Beaudry (Luc). Dear grandmother of Jason, Eric and Alain and great-grandmother of Michael, Justin, Nicolas, Gabrielle, Danica and Caleb. Dear sister of Réjean Bélanger. Predeceased by her siblings: Roland Bélanger, Roger Bélanger, Aurèle Bélanger, Jeannette Bossé, Roméo Bélanger (Dolorès), Aline Beaudry, Fernand Bélanger (Yvette), Georgette Montpellier and Maurice Bélanger. She will be sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Anita enjoyed sewing, knitting for her grandchildren, reading, watching TV and having long conversations with her sisters, friends and family. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff on the 4th floor at Extendicare York for their support. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. A chapel service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Maison McCulloch Hospice. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
