Passed away peacefully in hospital with her family at her side. Survived by her loving children Gary (Rita), Sandra (Don), Janet (Alois), Bruce (Céline), Keith and Jo-Anne and 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff of the Ottawa Hospital General Campus ICU for their unfailing dedication and compassionate care of Rita. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Tuesday, May 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at the Central Chapel on Wednesday, May 8 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a reception in the McGarry Family Reception Centre.
