September 11, 1946 – April 19, 2019
of Arthur passed away peacefully at St. Josephs Health Center Guelph on Friday, April 19, 2019 in her 73rd year. Loving wife of Ken Herriot for 52 years. Loving mother of Michael Herriot and Ruth of Arthur, Dianne Hewitson and Dave of Arthur and Lisa Herriot of Arthur. The most loving and caring grandmother to her grandchildren Travis, Nicole, James, Brittany, Lyle, Matthew, Alexis and Johnathan. A very loving white grandma to her three great grandchildren Avah, Garrett and Myah. Survived by her brothers Ernie of England and Don of London. Predeceased by her parents Rose Baker and Clifford Fields, sisters Dorothy Fields, Maxine Munch and Marjorie Riley, brothers Robert Fields, James Fields and Glen Fields. Sister-in-law of Marsha and Rick Mitchell, Jan and Don Wilson, Paula and John Murray, Rod Herriot, Gordon and Sally Herriot and Marlin and Fran Herriot. Fondly remembered by nieces Bonnie Rey and Susan Munch and Brenda Eligson as well as her other nieces, nephews and friends. Gail will be dearly missed by her friends Reta and Peter Denman and Peggy and Don Carr. Special thanks to St. Joseph’s Health Center, the staff and Dr Shafir. To honour Gail’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Friends and family are invited to the St. John’s Parish Centre for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. with remembrances at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and donations Gail would like everyone to spend time with their loved ones and cherish those memories.
