Carter Zalluski
November 11, 1995 – May 19, 2019
It is with sadness we announce that Carter Zalluski passed away suddenly on May 19, 2019.
Carter was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 11, 1995 and was raised on a farm in Alonsa Manitoba. He attended Alonsa School until grade 9. He then moved to Winnipeg and attended and graduated from Mudoch MacKay. Carter was working towards becoming an electrician and was an apprentice with LD Electric.
Carter had a passion for hockey and was drafted to both the MJHL and WHL. He loved going to the gym and spending time with his family and his friends as well as his dog, Otis. (his nugget)
He is survived by his mother Sheila Armstrong (Chris), father Danniel Zalluski (Sara), sister Madison, brothers Adam and Tanner, special friend Kristin, grandparents Elaine and Edward Brown, Baba & Gigi John and Gwen Zalluski. He is also survived by his godparents Logan Dumanske and Angela Bakker, cousins: Kayla, Cole, Hannah, Abby, Josie, Allison, Spencer, Julia Jenna (Dakota) Aaden, Jordan (Justin), Jesse and Alysha; aunts and uncles: Michael (Karen), Tanis (Kevin) Glen, Kim (Mark) as well as numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends who Carter met throughout his life.
Carter is predeceased by his brother Ashton, Aunt Sharon, great grandparents Grandma and Grandpa Bruce, Grandma and Grandpa Swiskoski, Grandma and Grandpa Whyte, Gigi and Baba Zalluski, cousins Blake, Christine, Quinlahn and Bradley, Uncle Derwood, Aunty Sophie (Uncle Frankie) Aunty Mary (Uncle Pat) and Uncle Gym.
Viewing for family & friends will be held on Thursday May 23, 2019 at St. Bedes Anglican Church in Kinosota Manitoba from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 24 at the Alonsa Community Centre at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Jona Weitzel will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Hunter MacDonald, Adam Zalluski, Tanner Zalluski, Michael Brown, Kevin Ryznar and Bdr Jesse Bakker. Honorary pallbearers are Logan Dumanske and all of Carters friends/family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carter may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
