Melanie Rosemary Bannerman, age 40, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on May 16, 2019. Melanie is survived by her partner and friend Jamie Hill, father Kirk Bannerman, mother Colleen Bannerman (Frank), brother Robbie (Kris) and nephews Nash and Clark. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Melanie worked as Mental Health Peer Navigator at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener. A celebration of Melanie’s life will be held in the Reception Centre of the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, June 1, from 3-5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Grand River Hospital Foundation – Adult Mental Health and Addictions Unit and may be made through the funeral home. 519.271.7411 www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
