Walter Michalejko
Surrounded by the love of his family, Walter passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday May 15, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer, he was 69 years old.
Loving husband of Lynn (nee Skinner). Proud father of Julie & her husband Joe Earle and Christine & her fiancé Tim Wootton. The last 5 years he took on his most important role as Grampa to Daphne and Everett, they were truly the light of his life! Dear brother of Olga (David) Boyle and Peter Michalejko. He was predeceased by his parents Harry & Annie Michalejko. Loving son in law of Lloyd & the late Shirley Skinner, and brother in law of Ted (Joanne), Anne (Malcolm), Lee and Marg (Keith) and the late Don (Cindy). Walter will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tyrone Community Centre on Sunday May 26th from 2 – 4 pm. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville. Memorial donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
