The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Yvonne (née Gingras) Lacroix of Azilda. Son of the late Albert and the late Fleurette (née Beaumier) Lacroix. Loving father of Lucie Lacroix of Estaire, Yvon Lacroix of Hanmer, Francine Lacroix of Toronto and Linda Lacroix of Azilda. Dear brother of Jeanne-Mance Lacroix of Gatineau. Predeceased by his sister Gisèle. Cherished grandfather of Julie, Luc, Christina, Zacharie, Corey and great-grandfather of Zoé, Eric, Mia, Isabelle and Caleb. Marcel was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, council 11559, Azilda. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Paroisse Ste-Agnès, Azilda. Donations (by cheque or online) to Maison McCulloch Hospice will be appreciated.
