Peter Merkley
It is with profound sadness to announce that Peter Eric Merkley of Cardinal Ontario passed away peacefully in his 64th year surrounded by his family at the Brockville General Hospital on May 10, 2019. Beloved son of the late Eileen and Albert Merkley. Survived but never forgotten by his sons Eric (Marie) of Iroquois and Philip (Holly) of Johnstown. Adored brother to Steve (Rhonda) of Iroquois and Brian (Lori) of Cardinal. Dear nephew of Jim Fairfield (Eleanor) of Brockville and uncle to his niece and nephews Katelyn, Kurtis, Liam and Aidan and so many wonderful and supportive friends. Peter lived life to the fullest. He will forever be admired for his remarkable carpentry skills, positive attitude, friendliness and great sense of humour. Peter left his mark on so many he will forever be in our hearts and on our minds.
