William Bill Earl Clayton March 24th 2019

1924 – 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill on March 24, 2019 in Armstrong, BC. He was born on December 17, 1924 in Armstrong, BC. Bill spent his whole life in Armstrong and area. He was well known as Mr. Machine Shop, it has been family owned since 1905.
Bill was a kind and caring man who never complained and he was loved by many. Bill enjoyed his long walks stopping and talking to everyone along the way.
Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep at Heaton Place which used to be the old hospital where he was born, he has come full circle. Bill loved being with people and was a caregiver to many, always with positive and encouraging things to say. He will be greatly missed.
Bill is lovingly remembered by his two daughters Carol Swift and Linda Bongers; grandchildren: Cheryl Closs (Blaine), Beverly Engdhal, George Junior Wynn (Rhonda), Devin Bongers (Laura), Dennis Bongers (Darcee), Aleshia Zabok (Dave); great grandchildren: Joshua, Melissa (Troy Gunderson), Mario Closs (Lyanne), Dayten, Danika, Madalyn, Amelia, Rhys, Jerrett; great-great grandchildren: Bailey, Camron, Paisley; nephews: David, Camie, Ted, Murrey, Lyle; nieces: Pelma, Jackie, Eva, Barb and Mary.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Bill at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at St. James Anglican Church (2315 Patterson Avenue, Armstrong, BC). Those wishing to do so may make a memorial donation in Bill’s name to Huntington Society of Canada (151 Frederick Street, Suite 400, Kitchener, ON N2H 2N2).
