Peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Wally Wilson of Inkerman, age 91. Loving husband of Betty Wilson (nee Munro) for 671/2 years. Loving father of Kathleen Wilson of Richmond, Donnalynne Clement of Johnstown, Ross Wilson of Inkerman and Judie Steffler (Hal) of Osoyoos, B.C. Wally will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Brian Michels (Jen), Rory Clement, Douglas Elmore (Kelsey) and great-grandsons Evan Michels, Lucas Elmore and Christopher Elmore. Predeceased by his parents Walter Wilson and Mable Wilson (nee Hewitt), his sister Alma Fagan and his brother James “Buddy” Wilson. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A Celebration of Wally’s life will be held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Sunday, April 14th from 3-6 p.m. Donations to Dundas County Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift “please notify the family”. The family wishes to thank the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Chemotherapy team, the Bayshore palliative care team, the Paramed personal support workers and Dundas County Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to Wally during his illness.
