Obituary of Vincent Samuel Boudreau
BOUDREAU , Vincent Samuel – age 56, of Indian Brook, formerly of Wedgeport, passed away suddenly April 16, 2019. Born August 3, 1962, he was a son of the late Abel and Elizabeth (Muise) Boudreau.
Vincent was a great fisherman from a large family of fishermen. He could fish, captain the boat, and fix the boat. He was also a mechanic who did truck repair. Vincent was a jack of all trades who was good at carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. He loved to hunt, enjoying many trips to the mountain with his uncle.
Vincent is survived by his wife of 13 years, Paulina Marie Sack-Boudreau; daughter, Darcy Sack; grandchildren, Cashis and Kingsly Sack; older siblings, Geraldine (James) Jaquard, Gert (predeceased, Don Pothier), Patrick (Annette), Bill (Shirley), Betty Ann (predeceased, Billy Doucette), Therese (predeceased, John Doucette), David (Nora), Nora (Bob) Muise, Walter (Sherry), Laurianne (James) Frotten, Lorena (Milton) Bourque, Kathleen (Emile) Comeau; one godchild; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Mike; children, Richard and William Sack.
Visitation will begin at 6pm Thursday, April 18th at 118 Dowie Road, Indian Brook until 10am Saturday, April 20th.
Vincent will then be brought to Wedgeport where visitation will be held 2pm – 8pm, Monday, April 22 in Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. Cremation will follow the visitation.
Funeral Mass will be held 11am, Tuesday, April 23 in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Fr. Albeni d’Entremont officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
