1936-2019
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Vincent Gallant, 83, of
Richibucto, NB passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital,
Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Born in St.
Charles, he was the son of the late Benjamin Gallant and late Elise
(Johnson) Gallant. Before retiring, Vincent was a
woodsman.
Vincent will be sadly missed by his wife, Rose-Marie
(Johnson) Gallant of Richibucto; one step-son, Joe Johnson (Pierrette)
of Saint John; many grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
He is also survived by three sisters, Doris LeBlanc of
Moncton, Aline Daigle of Moncton, Dolorise Bourque (late Eloi) of
Richibucto; two brothers, Elie Gallant (Raymonde) of Moncton, Ronald
Gallant (Geraldine) of Moncton and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister,
Geraldine and two brothers, infant Claude and
Emile.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9, Thursday at noon
until time of the funeral. A Funeral Service will be
celebrated on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm, Thompson’s
Funeral Home Chapel in Richibucto. Donations in
Vincent’s memory may be made to the charity of the
donor’s choice and would be appreciated by the
family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
