Obituary for
Thomas Danis
Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday April 27, 2019 at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of Rose Danis, loving father of Renée-France Danis (George Alexander), Natalie Danis (Jean Pinard) and Stéfan Danis (Shawna Pettyjohn); cherished grandfather of Dimitry, Danya-Rose, Ivy Lynn and Sunshine. He also leaves behind his sisters Suzanne Tremblay (Denys), Kathleen Danis and Nicole McMahon (Kevin); his sisters and brothers-in-law Gail Danis, Henriette Rondeau (Roger), Louise Hébert, Léon Fortier (Pierrette), Mireille Martin (Iian) and Denise Fortier and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Nelson (Sonny) and Ida Danis, his brothers Robert and Jean-Marc Danis; his parents-in-law Lucien and Mathilda Fortier and by his brother-in-law François Fortier. Tom was a big HABS fan. He volunteered and coached hockey and soccer for many years. He was an active member of the Steelworkers Union Local 7580. He was a devoted loving family man. He will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 1st, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 2nd, 2019 at St-Joseph Church at 12:30 pm. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to a Charity of your Choice will be greatly appreciated.
