Therese LeBlanc 19262019

Thérèse LeBlanc
1926-2019
Thérèse LeBlanc, 92, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste,
Bouctouche and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family at the Manoir on Monday April 1, 2019. She
was married to the late Dr. Paul-Emile LeBlanc (2012). Born in
Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late
Cécile (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Thérèse always had time to help out a neighbour. She had a
great deal of compassion for the less fortunate, and always knew
exactly the right thing to say, exactly the right time to bring
comfort. She was a tender soul who always found something nice to say
about others. Her discretion and respect for privacy were remarkable
and very much appreciated.
She will be sadly missed by her three children; Maria LeBlanc
(Calixte) of Bouctouche, Carmel LeBlanc of Fredericton, Léon
(Susan) of Moncton, her three grandchildren; Nicole, Denis and
Chantale as well as five great grandchildren; Benjamin, Samuel,
Madelyn, Gabrielle and Emily, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three sisters; Ella, Dora, Marie-Louise and
four brothers; Antoine, Tilmon, Eugène and Alyre.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday April 3, 2019 from 7 to 9
and on Thursday April 4, from 2 to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be
celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church,
Bouctouche on Thursday April 4, 2019 at 4:00 pm with interment in the
parish cemetery in the spring.
In Thérèse’s memory donations may be made to the
Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
