DRISCOLL: Theresa Veronica
Peacefully at Fairhaven Home on Monday, April 15, 2019, at the age of 84. Theresa, dearly beloved wife of Jim, and the late Eugene McAvoy. Loving mother of Tim (Lesley) McAvoy, and Chris McAvoy (Wendy Wierbicki). Loved step-mother of Glenda (Eric) Perrin, Jerry Driscoll (Michelle McCormack), Ken Driscoll, Debbie Phelan, Marlene (the late Steve) Millar, and Kevin (Tammy) Driscoll. Beloved Grandma of Laura, Ben, and step-Grandma of Kellie, Ryan, Kyle, Marissa, Corey, Jennifer, Lauren, Pauline, Luke, and Brooke. Loved step-Great Grandma of Noah, Leila, Denver, and Caleb. Dear sister of Jack (Cathy) Cannon, Pat (the late Ernie) Laton, Lorraine (Carl) Leddy, Marylin (Bruce) McArthur, Mary (Bob) Kelly, and the late Delores (surviving spouse Jerry) Driscoll. Dear sister-in-law of Charlie (Nell) Driscoll, Doreen (the late Ken) Woodgate, and the late Pauline Kylie. Theresa will be sadly missed by the McAvoy family, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Theresa was a valued employee at McDonalds’ for 30 years and loved to party and dance with her family to their favourite country tunes. A memorial mass will be held at St. Peter-in-Chains Church, 411 Reid St., Peterborough, on Monday, April 22, at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 317 Hunter Street W. Inurnment, Resurrection Cemetery, Oshawa, at a later date. Condolences to the family and directions to the services at www.AshburnhamFuneral.ca.
