1945-2019
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy
Hospital, St. John’s, NL, on Friday, April 19, 2019,
THELMA MARIE ROSE of Creston South, NL, in her
73rd year. Leaving to mourn, her
loving husband Eric, daughters Erin Rose (Gerard), Marystown, and
Vivian Rose (Dean), Epworth, 4 grandchildren, Haley, Taylor, Carter
and Blake: brother George Wiscombe, Paradise, and several Brothers and
Sisters in Law; nieces and nephews and a large circle of other
relatives and friends.
Thelma is predeceased by her parents Fred and Alice
Wiscombe and sisters Marion and Irene.
The family would like to say a special thank you to
the staff at the ICU at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre and St.
Clare’s Mercy Hospital who cared for Thelma during her
illness.
Resting at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South, on
Sunday, April 21, from 2 – 9 pm and Monday, April 22 from 10
am – 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St.
Michael’s Anglican Church, Creston South, on a date and time
to be announced. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery
in Creston South.
In Thelma’s memory, donations may be made
to the Family.
