Passed peacefully away, surrounded by loved ones, at the Health Sciences Centre, Monday, April 15, 2019, Stella Kendell at the age of age 82 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Adonis Kendell, and her much loved and missed son Anthony (Tony) Kendell, parents Clara and Samuel Organ of Norris Point, Bonne Bay, sisters Marjorie (Obidiah Northcott), Vera (Jim Snow), Florence (Clem Richards), brother Clayton Organ (Kate), and brother-in-law John Kendell (Marge).
She will be greatly missed by son Brad (Cathy), daughter Sharon (Ed), and daughter-in-law Paula. Grand-daughters Lisa Kendell, Susan Kendell, Erin Woodward (Glenn), Gillian Woodward (Kenn), and her great grand-daughters, Bethanie Kendell-Lambe, Sarah Kendell-Lambe, and her newest girl who arrived just seven weeks ago, Bellamy Stella Campbell. Special nephew Michael Richards (Sharon).
Mom, Nan K., Stella – had the kindest heart and was the most loving person. Her family was her reason; not one birthday card and gift was ever late, signed in her beautiful penmanship that never changed. She loved us and we loved her. Stella always enjoyed a joke and a laugh. We will love her so much.
Resting at Russells Funeral Home, Stephenville. Visitation 6-9 PM Friday, April 19. Funeral service to be held at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, 55 Hillview Avenue, Stephenville, Saturday April 20 at 2 PM with internment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway
