Peacefully at Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Wing on April 23, 2019. Sheila Mae Lawrence, R. N., of Cardinal (formerly of Ormstown, Quebec) at the age of 85. Beloved wife of William Irving Lawrence. Mother of Joanne of Seeley’s Bay, Barbara (Elaine McCrea) of Toronto, Valerie (John Houle) of Russell and special niece, Patricia O’Brien of Calgary. Proud grandmother of Murray and Jeffrey Lyons and of Madison, Arianna and Evan Houle. Survived by brother Stuart Holmes of Arborg, Manitoba. Pre-deceased by Dr. Ian Holmes of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Funeral Arrangements
Funeral services will be held at St. John’s United Church in Cardinal, Ontario on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to your local foodbank or to St. John’s United Church in Cardinal will be appreciated by the family.
