Sharon (Sherry)’s Obituary
Beloved mother, sister, and all-around magnificent, formidable, resplendent, unparalleled, majestic, exceptional, splendiferous person, Sherry Fudge passed peacefully away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 surrounded by family. Leaving to celebrate her life, or as Sherry would say: “get a grip” are her partner, Craven and her children, Miranda and Josh. Her siblings: Tony (Mary, her “favorite sister in law”), Shelly (Brian), Sandy, Vicki (Rob), and Tanna. Her nieces and nephews, many of whom attended “Sherry’s Bootcamp” as kids, and all of whom saw her as a second mom: Sarah, Patrick, Hailey, Jacob, Julia, Toni (also known as Sherry’s “clone”), Andrew, Matthew, and Kennedy (great niece). Of course, numerous other family members and friends, many of whom also have affectionately called her “mudder” or sister over the years. Last but not least, all those who asked for her by name at Kent or A Buck or Two because she really knew how to get the job done, while serving up a little wit or sass on the side.
Sherry and her family send heartfelt thanks to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff of the Palliative Care Unit and Cancer Centre at WMRH. At Sherry’s request (because let’s face it, none of us were ever brave enough to go against her), cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 3:00pm to 6:30pm. Although Sherry would be reminding us that, now she definitely “has no fucks left to give”, we know this news will leave many broken hearted. So, expressions of sympathy and love will be graciously accepted in the form of flowers or memorial donations to the Shriners fund. Wherever Sherry goes, there will be laughter. For everyone whose life was touched by her sarcasm and unending love, one final message from our dearest Sherry:
