Obituary of Sandra Evelyn Macfarlane
MACFARLANE, SANDRA EVELYN. It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Sandy on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 61st year. Sandy, beloved wife and best friend of Don McLeod and stepmother to Stephen and John, sister to Kathy Clark and Richard Macfarlane (Tammy), devoted aunt to Rachel, Matthew, Abby, Lauryn & Mayve and loved by her aunts Marilyn McIntyre and Margaret Ross. Sandy is predeceased by her parents Everett and Velma Macfarlane. Sandy was dedicated to her riding companion, Gambler and her loving Jack Russell, Lydia, and she was loved by everyone at Sunnymead Farm. She will be missed by all that knew her kind and loving personality. The entire family wants to thank the compassionate care of the B6 Team at PRHC. A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held in the Chapel of the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road (north of Parkhill) on Saturday April 20, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, if desired, condolences to the family and memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or PARD Therapeutic Riding can be made at www.AshburnhamFuneral.ca.
