Clarke – Rosemarie (nee Burns), passed away at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on April 27, 2019 at the age of 68. Dear daughter of Cecilia Loretta (nee King) & the late Howard Burns. Loving mother of Michael Vernon Clarke (Linda Rose ) of Newmarket, John David Clarke (Kelsey) of Espanola, Alana Paige Jackson (Stephen) of Espanola. Loving Nana of Alexander Vernon Garth, Alyssa Paige, Griffin George of Newmarket and Hannah Gillian, Georgina May, Thomas Saul of Espanola. Dear sister of Beverly McCue (Jim), Diane Bell (John), Leona (Ross), Judith (Syd), Kim, James (Christine), Casimir (Cathy), Michael (Jennifer) and the late Robert Burns. Also sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and families. Rosemarie taught for many years for various school boards, starting with the North Shore Roman Catholic District School Board. Also taught for the Sudbury Board of Education and the Sudbury District Roman Catholic School Board as well as Kegewenteg School Board. She ended with teaching for the Waterloo District School Board for 18 years. Bridge, Kayaking, Golf, Gardening, Shopping, Decorating, Grand parenting and reading were her favourite activities. Sadly missed by Chapters Books and her friends Jane, Brenda and Sandra. Family and friends are invited to the Bourcier Funeral Home for a visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on April 30, 2019. Funeral Mass on May 1, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception R.C.C. in Massey at 11 AM. Interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Massey. If so desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements by BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME Ltd, Espanola.
