Age 58 of Bedford, passed away on September 20, 2018, at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Rose and Reginald Harnish. Janet was a loving mother who devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She could make you smile in the hardest of times and she never failed to add some glitter and sparkle to any occasion. She is survived by daughter, Cassandra Mayhew, Calgary, Alta.; sons, Robert Mayhew, Amherst; Jeffery Mayhew, Halifax; sisters, Linda Harnish, Herring Cove; Cathy Bambrick, Antigonish; brothers, Reginald Harnish Jr., Sackville; Irvin Harnish, Shubenacadie; Stephen Harnish, Herring Cove; grandchildren, Mathias, Kingston, Wren. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 27th from 12-2 p.m. in T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, 85 Sackville Cross Rd. Interment in St. James Church Cemetery, Herring Cove, at 3 p.m. following the visitation. Donations may be made to St. James Church, Herring Cove, or the charity of your choice.
