Rollande Chevrier-Gaudet
CHEVRIER-GAUDET, Rollande
In loving memory of Rollande Chevrier-Gaudet, the family announces with sorrow of the passing of a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmere, and grand-grandmere. Rollande passed away into the arms of Jesus at 90 years old on April 26th after years of courageous health battles, and determination throughout every challenge. Daughter of Arcade & Germaine Chevrier (Nee Brosseau) both predeceased. She will be greatly missed by her devoted and beloved husband Rheal Gaudet. Sister to Maurice (predeceased), Roma (Marie), Andy (Simone), Marcel (Rochelle), Yvon, and Gaston (Gail). Rollande was the mother of three sons: the late Richard Ahola (Nancy), Robert Ahola (Denise), Donald Ahola (Elaine). She was a loving grandmere to Joanna (Dave), Jennifer (Mike), Julia (Tracy), Jesse (Christine), Jeffery, Amy, Steven, and Shannon. Her many great-grandchildren cherished their time with grand-grandmere. Rolly loved travelling and spent 20 years wintering in the Southern United States and Mexico. She loved her years of travelling and the friendships she made on her adventures, and was fascinated by the arts and crafts culture in her travels. Rolly was a natural artist and was often seen painting, beading, crafting, and making beautiful gifts for others. She leaves behind an extensive body of artistic works that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
The family of Rollande Chevrier-Gaudet would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the wonderful health care professionals at the Health Sciences North for giving her care and comfort in her final days. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Paroisse Ste-Agnès, Azilda.
