It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Robert O’Donnell Jr. which occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, April 29th, 2019. Born in Saint John, on June 9th, 1972, he was the son of Robert and Donna (Pye) O’Donnell. Rob was a kind hearted, loving man who was artistic in so many ways. He was very athletic in sports, played guitar very well and enjoyed drawing beautiful pictures. He loved his family with a passion. He adored his loving wife and his children. They were his everything.
Along with his parents, Rob is survived by his loving wife Julia and two children Alexis and Jacob, who were the light of his life; brothers Billy (Rachelle) of Willow Grove and Donnie of Saint John; nieces Samantha and Olivia; nephew Nicholas; special friend Mark Livingston whom Rob shared a room with during his two month stay in the hospital; as well as several aunts, uncles and friends.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at SJRH who loved and took such quality care of Rob. He truly made friends with you all.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, May 1st from 6 to 8 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Thursday, May 2nd at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Rob may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
