Unexpectedly on April 6, 2019 at 79 years of age. Devoted and loving husband of Jeanne (nee Bennett) for 57 years. Cherished father of Kim (James Koola), Kenny, Kevin and Kory. Loving grandpa “Poppie” of Alicia Dumaine (Kyle Auger), Cassie Herrmann (Daniel Shepherd), Kyle, Kaylan Koola, Dane Herrmann, Tyler (Chloe), Dylan and Jocelyn. Special great grandpa of Maddie, Aspen, Piper and Shylah. Beloved brother of the late Theresa Hastings (the late Ted), the late Larry (the late Patricia), Cecelia, Mary Pollard (Larry), Earl (Barbara), Patrick (Denelle), Gloria Drouin (Ron) and the late Garry (Mary). Beloved brother in law of Barbara Godin (Stan Sydlowski), the late Lyle Bennett and the late Mary Mortier. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Ray “Uncle Ray” was the proud owner of Uncle Ray’s Garage and owner of many Veteran Cabs. He was the current president of the Windsor Taxi Community Charities. Ray tirelessly worked to raise money to support children under the age of 12. He was a current board member of the East Gate Estates Community.

  1. he was a great friend of mine ,when we work together at vets. always had a smile on his face even when the company, would not let him fix some old cabs like mine, told me to bring it to his garage on seminole and he would look after my needs. great guy and i surely miss him.
