Obituary of Ralph William Harris
Ralph Harris, 72, of Regina, SK, passed away on March 29, 2019 at 3:15pm in Regina. A private graveside ceremony will be held at Riverside Cemetery. A Celebration of Ralph’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Faith Baptist Church, 437 Broadway Ave. E., Regina, SK. Ralph was born in Saskatoon to Harold and Agnes. His working career covered 12 years at SGI and 40 years of his true passion of building dreams with Magnificent Kitchens. He was very active in his life playing an assortment of sports including broomball, hockey and football. He also coached junior and women’s fastball for 40 plus years. He is a member of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of fame. With the loss of his previous wife Candace he joined a Griefshare group to aid in his healing and quickly became a facilitator and advocate for the program for 18 years. Ralph will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Maurene; his children Ray (Jodi), Darren (Sheila), Steven (Jaja), Scot (Janice), Toby, Dean, Sherri, Tania (Kit), Chad (Nicole) and Graham (Joni); grandchildren, Kelsi, Keghan, Brandon, Faith, Kadie, Nathan, Leila, Brock, Jamie, Ty, Hudson, Lexie, Jaela, Radyn, Jake, Lukas and Reese; great grandchildren Rylan, Logan and Jake; his siblings Rita, Martha, Cyril and Myrna. He is preceded in death by his wife, Candace; his parents, nephew Wes and cat Cricket. Memorial donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to Faith Baptist Church Griefshare. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Dennis Jones of the SICU of the Regina General Hospital.
