Polychronis “Paul” Litsas passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Born in Kalloni, Troizinias, Greece on January 25, 1937, Paul immigrated to Canada in 1954. Paul spent his first years in Regina, Saskatchewan and spoke often about his time there, remaining a loyal Roughriders fan throughout his life. With tremendous hard work in multiple aspects of the service industry in both Regina and Calgary, Paul was able to open his own restaurant and became a well-respected member of the High River community. The doors to Paul’s restaurant and home were always open to his many friends. He was known for his generosity, having contributed to local schools and amateur sport. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Vaso and his children Fay (Chris), Nancy and Dean (Melissa). The many wonderful memories of time spent with Pappou will be treasured by Paul’s grandchildren Lia, Vasiliki, Abigail and Hudson. Paul was predeceased by his parents Kostantinos and Fotini and brothers Spyridion, Demetrios, Georgios, Ioannis and Athanasios. Paul will also be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as his friends and family in Canada and Greece.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Polychronis Paul Litsas January 25 1937 April 21 2019 (age 82)..
