Born in Macklin, Saskatchewan on April 25, 1960, Patrick passed away on April 21, 2019 at the age of 59. Pat spent his early years on the farm in Cactus Lake, Saskatchewan before the family moved to Saskatoon, and then on to Calgary where Pat attended Bishop Grandin High School. He later attended the University of Calgary. Pat received his Pharmacy Technician Diploma and went on to work at Oakridge CO-OP. Pat enjoyed rock hunting, stamp collecting and displayed a fondness for photography. He was a kindhearted man with a quiet sense of humour who will be deeply missed. Pat is survived by his mother Lucy Bichel, his brother Lloyd (Tillie), his sisters Diann (Ed), Lorraine (Ted), and Barbara (Brian), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pat is predeceased by his father Joseph, as well as his brothers-in-law Ed Boser and Ted Malach. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish (1600 Acadia Dr SE) on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00am to be followed by a Celebration of Life in the Heritage Room at the Hotel Blackfoot (5940 Blackfoot Trail SE) at 12:30pm.
