Olive Jean Gulliver
1924-2019
It is with great sadness that family of Olive Jean (Price)
Gulliver announce her passing on April 21, 2019 at the Oromocto Public
Hospital. Born on February 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late
Ernest and Viola (Dixon) Price.
Olive graduated Nurses College in St. Stephen, NB and worked
as a registered nurse for her working life. She worked in Sus and
at the Victoria Health Centre. Work was important to Olive, however
being a loving mother was her top priority.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Burton and Larry
Gulliver (Valerie, whom was her caregiver and friend for the last few
years); step grandchildren; step great grandchildren;
brother, Harold Price (Shirley) from Ottawa, ON; sister,
Claire Sanford from Bloomfield, NB, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, Olive was predeceased by her
husband of 50 years, Glendon B. Gulliver; brother, Murray Price;
sister, Shirley Setzke, as well as brothers-in-law Robert Setzke and
Sterling Sanford.
By Olive’s request there will be no visitation or
public service. Interment will be in the St. John’s Anglican
Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
a charity of the donor’s choice.
