Olga’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Bonne Bay Health Centre on Friday April 26th, 2019, Olga Stella (Decker) Payne, in her 91st, year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Loretta Payne (Bill), Sam Payne (Myrtle), Frank Payne (Christine), Oreila Atkinson (Jim), Paul Payne, Janice Shears (Keith), and Iris Parsons (Frank), granddaughter; Phyllis Caines (Phonze) whom she lived with, 23 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 13 great great grand children, and 1 great great great grandchild her sisters; Ruby Goosney (Milton), and Isabelle Major (George), her sons-in-law; Tom Shears, and Raymond Bennett, Olga was predeceased by her husband; Allen, daughters; Betty Shears, and Marie Bennett, son; Herman Payne, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her mother and father; Janet and Thomas Decker of Baker’s Brook, her siblings; Amy Reid (Corbit), Delilah Young’s (Augustus), Roland Decker (Mabel), Leah Roberts (Jack), Philip Decker (Elsie), Marjorie Cooper (Garfield), Alexander Decker (Edna), Elizabeth Knott (Benjamin), Alma Major (Wallace), and Rita Rideout (Leslie). Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Mary’s the Virgin Anglican Church Cemetery fund in Olga’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Olga’s residence in Cow Head, NL, on Sunday, April 28th, 2019 from the hours of 7-9 pm, then the visitation will continue at St Mary’s the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Monday, April 29th, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019, at 2:00 pm, with Canon Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
