Norman Avery Gray Sunday January 20th 2019

GRAY Norman Avery – 82, passed away January 20,2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Berwick NS on November 5, 1936 he was a son to the late Avery and Marjorie (Mitton) Gray. Norman was a long-haul truck driver for his entire working career, his last position being with Midland Trucking Company. He was a member of the Yarmouth Lions Club and Royal Canadian Legion Branch #61. He was a Veteran and served in Egypt with Peace Keeping Force. Norman loved to travel and especially to Florida. He is survived by his common law wife Mae McGray, Argyle; daughters Brenda Sollows, Margaret Leblanc, both of Yarmouth; sons Arthur and Larry both of Yarmouth; special mention Clifford McGray and Christie Sproul; many grandchildren and great grand children. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Martha Deveau; brothers, Arthur, Elmer; sisters, Ardella and Pauline. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be a Graveside Service at the Deerfield Cemetery on May 13, 2019 at 1 P.M. with Father Doug Chard officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
