1959-2019
Michael (Mike) J. Morehouse of Zealand, NB passed away on April 28,
2019 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Mike was born on April 15,
1959 at Zealand, NB, a son of Virginia (Ginger) (Parker) Morehouse and
the late John Morehouse.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia (Ginger) Morehouse; his
siblings, Linda Sturge, Karl Morehouse (Miriam), Kevin Morehouse
(Tawyna) and Melanie Clarkson (Lee); nieces and nephews, Dexter
Sturge, Mariah Morehouse, Courtney Sturge, William Morehouse and
Bailey Clarkson; great nieces and great nephews, Hayden, Dexter Jr.,
Arianna and Jack; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his wife, Thelma
Kennard and a brother-in-law, James Sturge.
Visiting hours will be held at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129
Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand, NB on Tuesday evening, April 30 from
6 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 12 noon until 2 pm,
followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Carl and Evelyn
Brewer officiating. Interment at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery,
followed by a reception back at the church.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Lunn, Jamie Weatherbee, John A.
Hogan, Don Brooks, Rodney Gauthier, Tom Barrie, Kevin Cronkhite, Adam
Toner, Jeremy Priest, Ellery Buckingham, Larry Sheppard and Richard
Brewer.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Mike, the family
has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Paul’s
Anglican Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Maxine Brewer
who checked on and gave assistance to Michael during his illness.
