Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Thursday April 25,2019, Mary Burrage of Hearts Content, age 85 years. Predeceased by her loving husband John Burrage; parents Frank and Emily Piercey; sister Eleanor Hiscock; brother in-laws Frank Morrissey and Arthur Hiscock; sister in-law Sarah Burrage. Leaving to mourn her three children, Ken (Joanne) Burrage, Beverly (James) Clarke, and Sharon (Walter) Noseworthy; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grand children; two brothers Max(Pasty) Piercey, Rex (Jenny) Piercey; three sisters Winne Morrissey, Stella (Arthur) Tavenor and Emily (Jimmy) Hobbs; and brother in-law Bill (Minnie) Burrage; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of dear friends. Resting at Greens Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Sunday April 28,2019 2:00-4:30, 7:00-9:00. Monday April 29,2019 visitation at St.Mary’s Church Hearts Content 10:00-12:00. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 with interment to follow at St.Mary’s Cementay. Donations in honor may be made to the family of Emma Clarke. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all. She will be in our hearts forever.
