Roote, Martin Pernell, passed away suddenly on Monday April 22, 2019 in his 44th year. Beloved son of Linda Kahgee of Saugeen First Nation. Brother to Ron, Jason, Quentin, Jonathon, Jacob and Amanda. Nephew to Steve (Marilyn) Roote, Mike Roote, Cory (Paul) King and uncle to Alexandra, Brendan, Cole, Emily, Caleb, Colby, Tayla, and Rayden. Loved cousin to Craig, Matthew, Nicholas, Kimberly, Marshall, Jenny, and Trevor. Predeceased by his dad Anthony “Tony” Roote, his grandparents, Tilly Salt, Daniel and Maisie Roote. Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Thursday April 25, 2019 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A Celebration of Martin’s life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday April 26th at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Saugeen Village Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
