It is with great sadness that the family of Marion Hazel Hodder announce the sudden passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, partner, sister and aunt on April 26, 2019.
Pre-deceased by her husband Charlie, parents Harold and Myrtle Watton, brothers Wilf and Calvin.
Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Roy (Jeannette); her grandchildren Jennifer and Joanne (Patrick), great-grandson Patrick Owen; her partner Roy and his family Rick (Helen), Jason and Samantha; her sisters Edith Toope (Eugene), Lovie Hyde (Lloyd), Audrey Walters (Aub), Olive Coish (Dave); as well as her nieces, nephews and a large circle of other family and friends.
A special thank you to Dr. Reddy, her resident Kerry Lynn Wiliams, RN Alexandra, the staff of 7 west at St. Clare’s Hospital and Natasha Churchill and her students from Centre for Nursing Studies for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, April 28 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel Monday, April 29 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
