Margot Rosemarie Edwards Ruck Tuesday March 12th 2019

Margot Rosemarie (Ruck) Edwards, 78, Truro, passed away peacefully March 12, 2019 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Homburg (Saarland), Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Brigitte Margarethe (Frisch) Ruck.
She was an avid knitter and enjoyed crochet. Her beautiful handmade snowflakes adorned many Christmas trees of her family and friends. During the last few years, while residing at Cedarstone, she took part in bingo and was a member of the bell choir. She was also a member of TOPS NS 2709, the Parkinson Society and the VON Adult Day Program.
Margot is survived by daughters, Leeanna, Chester, Belinda and Sharon, both of Truro; grandchildren, Monica, Chris (Nikki), Derek, Bryce (Chelsea), Danielle, Riley, Haley, Lucas and Logan as well as six great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Margot was predeceased by son; Kenny; a sister, Eleanor and a brother, Norbert.
A special thank you to the staff of Purdy Lane for their care and compassion as well as to Ginny for always making Mom’s day brighter.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
