Memorial Donation
With tremendous sadness and heavy hearts, the family of the late Margaret Saunders announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday April 6th 2019. She was a vibrant 92 years old and leaves so many behind to mourn with fond and loving memories, including: her children James Ronald in Winnipeg, Kathleen in Ontario and five grandchildren. Also left to mourn are: her sister Frances Blunden in St. John’s, her homecare worker and friend Mary Estoppey and a loving and supportive community of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Marion Green, her husband Allan Saunders, her husband Art Mehaney, her sisters Harriet, Violet, Linda and her brother Fraser. Visitation will take place from Russell’s Home on Thursday April 11th from 2-4 P.M. The funeral service will take place from the First United Church on Friday April 12th at 2 P.M. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the First United Church memorial Fund in Margaret’s Memory.
