Peacefully at Marianhill Residence, Pembroke on Saturday April 20, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Margaret Whitmore (nee Syslvestre) of Pembroke, loved and cherished mother of Sharon Sammon (William), Penny Whitmore (Timothy Burke), both of Ottawa, Denise McLean (Tom), of Brockville and Peter Whitmore of Kingston. Loving grandmother Matthew and Michael Sammon, Nathaniel McLean (Sabrina), Kelsey McLean and Christian and Maggie Whitmore and great grandchildren Luka, Marko, Liam and Teagan Sammon. Sadly missed nieces and nephews, Terry Sylvestre (Nancy), Carolyn Moyles (Sean), Jeff Sylvestre (Susan), Peter Sylvestre, Robin Taylor, Waterloo, Mark Taylor, Banff and Stephen Taylor Ottawa, and great nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Peter E. and Carrie (nee Rabishaw) Sylvestre. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of Marianhill Residence for the loving care and compassion shown to our mother. Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 27th at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdesview Drive, Pembroke.
