It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Magno Giovanni Testa (a.k.a. Maggie to friends}, at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH) on April 9th 2019, at the age of 61. Loving son of Francesco Testa and the late Filippa Parisella Testa, adored older brother of Marisa M. Testa (late Tiziano Giacomini). Such a humorous and gentle soul, he will be missed by all those whose paths he has crossed.
The family would like to thank ‘all’ of the incredible staff at the JGH who in some way helped him on his journey in life. Special thanks go to the latest set of incredible doctors on ‘Team Testa’ (i.e. Dr. B. Cummings, Dr. J. Golan, Dr. P. McMillan, Dr. P. Michel, Dr. M. Oughton, Dr. B. Schwartz), doctors who have followed Magno for the past several years (i.e. Dr. R. Chaytor, Dr. J. Gomolin, Dr. M. Lipman, Dr. V. Mardigyan, Dr. M. Tamilia), all of the intensivists in the JGH ICU, as well as his ‘guardian angel’ nurse, France Savoie.
We would also like to thank all of his childhood friends for standing by his side and encouraging him with their love over the years – you are truly his chosen family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 14, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday April 15 from 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the Funeral Home at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the ‘Magno Testa Memorial Fund’ at the Jewish General Hospital would be appreciated.
Magno, you have been and will continue to be a source of inspiration to all of us. Your tenderness, your compassion, your humor and your phenomenal strength and determination are an incredible testament to the GREAT man that you are. God, please grant our ‘unforgettable’ Maggie his well-deserved, peaceful rest.
