REXTON, NB – Lois Beck 92, of Rexton passed away
peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday,
March 31, 2019. Born in Rexton, she was the daughter of the
late Stanley Glencross and late Jessie (Glendenning)
Glencross. Before retiring, Lois was employed at Canada Post
as a mail driver for many years.
Lois will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Emily Hussey
(Lorne) of Rexton, Judy Sullivan (James) of Jardineville; two sons,
Boyd Beck (Jackie) of Rexton, Gary Beck (Virginia) of Ford Bank; seven
grandchildren, Derek (Carmen), Rachel (Peter), Robert (Niyan), Laverne
(Daniel), Heather, Lee (Chrissy), Adam (Andrée); nine great
grandchildren; sister-in-law, Margaret Glencross of South Branch and
many nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, besides
her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold Beck; her
sister, Vida; her twin sister, Anna and her two brothers,
Arnold & Allison.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday beginning at noon until time of the
funeral. A Funeral Service will be held at on Thursday,
April 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel,
Richibucto, officiated by the Rev. Claudia Keller.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto (523-4252).
