On March 31, 2019 Julie “Julia” Irene Lewis (nee Smith) of Onion Lake, formerly of Frog Lake, passed away at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her loving children, Lila Smith (Vernon), Alvina (Winston) Twinns, Salina Lewis (Clinton), Clifford (Sheila) Smith, Malcom Napewaew (Jolene), Virginia (Darrell) Saskatchewan, Bernadette Smith, Patronella Lewis (Joe), Melissa Lewis (Scott), Jobelle (Aaron) Gagnon, Valance (Sabrina) Lewis, Coressa (Trevor) Bird & Joseph Myron Smith (Hariet); adopted children, Darryl Carter (Laverne), Eugenia Chief (Curtis), Rubina Lewis (Ronnie), Casey Lewis (Carmen), Milton Lewis (Katelynn), Jordan (Roberta) Lewis, Leslie (Janice) Lewis, Homer Smith, Lanny Smith, Floyd Pechawis & Marvin Meesto; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Henry (Alma) Smith, Mervin (Rikki) Smith & Hubert (Mildred) Smith; numerous nieces & nephews. Ms. Lewis was predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Mary Smith; 4 sisters, Agnes Stanley, Agnes Soloway, Helen Smith & Bernadette Violet Smith; 2 brothers, Frank Masson & Lawrence Smith. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) and Wednesday, April 2 & 3 at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake.
