It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leslie Everett Pierce announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday April 11th, 2019 at the age of 98 years. Leslie was born in Yarmouth Nova Scotia to Clayton and Annie (Ellis) Pierce. He will be sadly missed by his son Wayne (Mary), his seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his sister Evelyn Grey along with other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian (Brittian), his son Kenneth, his brothers; Charles, Douglas, George, Joseph and Willard and by his sisters; Edith, Bessie and Elsie. In keeping with Leslie’s wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place in Yarmouth at a later date.
His life’s work is done
He is gone home to rest
