Obituary for Joyce Jones
Jones; Joyce. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Jones. Joyce passed away peacefully at her home, with her family at her side on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in her 92nd year. Joyce was born in Newbridge, South Wales, UK and immigrated to Wallaceburg with her husband Russell Jones and two daughters. The last twenty years she has resided in Chatham. Joyce will be sadly missed by Russell Jones, her two daughters Jayne Cantin (David Wild) of Sombra and Donna Neefs (Andre Neefs) of Chatham, her four grandchildren and two great grandsons. She was a wonderful loving “Nana” to her grandchildren Danielle Grain, Aimee Cantin, Cailey Neefs and Tyler Neefs and to her much-cherished great grandsons Logan and Carson Grain. She will be forever in our hearts. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date with interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. Donations in Joyce’s name will be gratefully accepted at the funeral home for the Salvation Army or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario 519.627.3231.
