Peacefully, with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joey at University hospital, London on Thursday April 11, 2019 in his 52nd year. Beloved son of Jill Gilbrook of Chatham. Loving father of Zachary Legue-Wheeler (Amber) of London. Dear brother of Tammy Fleet (Terry) of London. Uncle of Terry Jr. of London. Joey was the favorite nephew of Judy Brearley (Late Wayne 2007), Darryl Heath all of Chatham and Mary Croft of Rockwood along with many cousins. Special friendships with Michelle Legue (Paul) of Chatham and Phil Hunter of Shrewsbury. Predeceased by his father John Wheeler in 2010 and his special Grandmama Marjorie Heath in 2015 and uncle Jimmie Heath in 2019. Joey made many close and valued friendships throughout his life and they were always there to love, support and make great memories together. Special thanks to the palliative care team at University hospital especially nurses Taylor and Ryan. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private gathering of family and friends at a later date.
