John Slade
September 12, 1947 – February 25, 2019

John Christopher Slade passed away on February 25th at his home in Wallaceburg, Ontario at the age of 71. He is fondly remembered by his two children Jason and Lola Slade, 4 amazing grandchildren, wife Kwai Fung (Angelina) Kwan, past spouse Kathryn Slade and his surviving siblings.
John was born in England in 1947 where he trained as an industrial designer. While making a living as a draughtsman his creativity found an outlet in painting, playing guitar and building his own boats. John always found himself a magnet for children and dogs who gravitated to his kindness and playfulness.
We will be holding a Celebration of Life for John Slade in the Hearth Room at Leaside United Church on Saturday, March 23 from 1-3pm with the service at 1:30 pm and time afterwards to connect with John’s friends and family.
