John Richard MacBean 19452019

John Richard MacBean
1945-2019
It is with great sadness that the family of John MacBean
announces his death on April 27, 2019, surrounded by family at the Dr.
Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on August 28, 1945, he was the son of
the late Douglas and Lorna (King) MacBean.
Through many years of hard work and dedication John operated
his own successful business. He is respected by all friends and family
for the man that he is. He will always be a role model for
his children and grandchildren.
John is a wonderful and devoted husband, father and
grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 53
years, Barbara (Knight) MacBean; sons, Jodi MacBean and Brent MacBean;
daughter, Jillian Boyd (Bruce); grandchildren, Brook, Josh, Megan,
Sarah and Madison; great granddaughter, Alexa; brother, Gary MacBean
(Marg); sister, Sandra Briggs (David); as well as several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the
Palliative care doctors and nurses on 3E of the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital for their wonderful care. A special thank you to the extra
mural program for everything they have done.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on
Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Kingswood Lodge from 2 – 4 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer
Society.
Happy 53rd Anniversary Dad, Love Mom
