It’s with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Patrick Murphy age 80 at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Jack; mother Margaret (Hannaford); sister Brenda; brother Donald as well as other aunts and uncles.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 55 years Madonna; his four children whom he dearly loved Terry, Sandra Ryan (Tom), Cathy and Donald (Lisa); five grandchildren Tommy (Nicole), Tara (Ryan), Jacob, Tiana and Stephanie; Three great grandchildren Nathan, Aiden and Keegan who were the pride of his life; brother Pat (Barb); sisters Joan, Debbie, Judy (Jim) as well as number of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law along with a wide range of nieces, nephews, and friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Holmes, Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Rogers, Kelly Collins, Adetola and the Price family for all your help and care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, April 15, 2019 from St. Teresa’s Church at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
