MANSON, John George Alexander (Jack) – Arrived in Glory on April 2, 2019 from the Norview Lodge, Simcoe. Mr. Jack Manson of Simcoe in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Verna (2013). Loving father of John C. Manson and his wife Sue of Simcoe and Mary Manson and her husband Ian of Guelph. Cherished Grandpa to James (Samantha), Rebecca, Jonathan, Jesse and Jadon. Great grandpa to MacKenzie. Dear brother to the late Donald Manson and his wife Margaret of Embro and the late Christine Fraser. Jack was a member of Emmanuel Bible Church. He was a teacher at Simcoe Composite School for over 30 years, where he retired as the head of the Science Department. Friends are invited to visit on Thursday April 4th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe. Jack’s funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. from EMMANUEL BIBLE CHURCH, 24 Churchill Circle, Simcoe. Pastor Steve Faulkner officiating. Private family interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe. If so desired, donations may be made in Jack’s Memory to the Emmanuel Bible Church or the Gideon Bible Society and would be greatly appreciated.
